Public Practice
harryblack Harry Black, Managing Partner & Director of Accounting Services, founded F.H. Black & Company in 1990 and was instrumental in growing the firm into the largest full service CMA public accounting firm in Manitoba.
carifranco Cari Franco is a Public Practice Manager at F. H. Black & Company. Cari graduated with honours from the Business Administration Diploma program at Red River College. Having joined the firm in 2006, she has a well-rounded range of accounting experience, including bookkeeping, year end, corporate and personal tax, and management consulting.  Cari has completed all levels of the CGA Program and is currently pursuing her Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree through Laurentian University.
wendykwong Wendy Kwong is a Public Practice Manager with F. H. Black & Company. Wendy graduated from the Business Administration Diploma program at Red River College with a perfect grade point average of 4.50.  In her graduating year, she received the Lieutenant-Governor's Medal, the Red River College Gold Medal, the CGA Award of Excellence, and the Enterprising Women's Conference Award.  Wendy has several years of public practice experience and has completed Level 4 of the CGA Program, achieving the highest marks in Manitoba in her External Auditing examination session.

Glen Carlson, Public Practice Manager, has been in the accounting profession for over 23 years, both with national and local public practice firms and as a Controller for private companies.  Glen obtained his CGA designation in 2001 and has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Manitoba.   Glen is also an instructor with the CGA Association on a part-time basis.   With solid education and hands-on experience, Glen offers clients a wide range of expertise and knowledge.  Glen co-manages the public practice team and provides year-end and consulting services to clients.

jordanblahnik Jordan Blahnik, Professional Accountant, joined FH Black in 2008 with a Diploma in Business Administration from Red River College.   Jordan continues to pursue his professional development by working towards his CGA designation and through hands-on involvement with client engagements.  Jordan provides consulting, year-end and tax preparation services to clients and assists in the training of new accounting employees.
curtisdriedger Curtis Driedger, Professional Accountant, joined F.H. Black & Company as a result of the merger of H.H. Driedger & Associates in 2010 and has over 5 years' experience as a professional accountant in the public practice field. Curtis has obtained a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Manitoba and is pursuing his CMA designation through the CMA Strategic Leadership Program.  Curtis provides consulting, year-end and tax preparation services to clients.
arturogalupe Arturo Galupe, Professional Accountant, joined FH Black & Company several years ago and is a Certified Public Accountant from the Philippines (PICPA), with over 30 years of accounting experience; he continued his accounting education through the University of Manitoba CGA and CMA Accreditation programs.  Arturo provides year-end and bookkeeping services to clients and performs internal accounting duties for the firm.

Jason Sawitzky, Professional Accountant, joined F.H. Black in 2011 in the administration area and has since progressed to the accounting field.  Jason has a Business Administration degree and continues to pursue his education with a focus on financial accounting.  Jason provides basic bookkeeping and tax preparation services for clients and is increasing his scope to include year-end work.

Tina Steliga, Professional Accountant.  With over 20 years of accounting experience in both public accounting and in industry, Tina brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to F.H. Black & Company.  Tina has a Business Administration Diploma from Red River College and focuses on bookkeeping, tax preparation and year-end engagements.
Information Technology
jamieblack2 Jamie Black, Partner & Director of IT Services for F.H. Black & Company, oversees the firm's IT division and provides consulting and training services to corporate clients, public practice firms, municipalities and universities throughout Canada and the U.S.
darrylparker2 Darryl Parker is the Manager of eServices, and a key member of the CaseWare team.  Darryl has been involved in web application programming and scripting language development for 10 years as a website owner, consultant, and freelance programmer.
waldo2 Waldo Nell, Manager of Information Services, has been involved in the IT industry since 1993.  Waldo has experience from low level assembly language programming PIC microcontrollers to high level Java/C# programming, networking, security, software architecture and much more.  His time is currently divided between caring for FHB's various IS clients' IT needs, as well as developing new systems for various applications.
Human Resources
susanscott Susan Scott joined F.H. Black & Company as Recruiter and Manager of Human Resources in 2004. Susan provides consulting services to clients in the area of policy development, hiring and terminations, retention strategies and performance evaluations.  Susan majored in English Literature and Architecture at the University of Toronto and obtained her Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designation in 2005.
Administration
chrisklassen2 Chris Klassen, Executive Assistant, joined F.H. Black & Company in 2004, with previous experience as an Administrative Officer for the Province of Manitoba, and as a Supervisor and Superintendent of Administration for a US-based defence company.  Chris provides support for all FHB senior executives and Partners; she is responsible for co-ordination of our training courses, and is also the voice of our telephone greeting.
kylacasavant

Kyla Casavant, Administrative Assistant, has had several years' experience working within the administrative field, and has a diploma from Herzing College where she graduated with honours in the Legal Assistant program.  Kyla continues to pursue her education and is currently enrolled in the Accounting Program at Red River College and is working towards her CGA designation.
